A very rare Chinese porcelain exportware base of a tulip vase based on a Dutch Delft original, the square lower section painted with panels of opposing designs of angels on a terrace in a garden, all between horizontal sloping galleries, the upper part with narrowing neck with floral motif supported on four cabriole legs and ducks and four protruding spouts at the corners, the whole on four short feet, the two sections manufactured separately
